The Swamp’s Pathetic Excuse: ‘Just Doing His Job’
The corrupt media, and the “neutral” article from U.S. Constitution.net, are trying to sell the American people a laughable cover story.
They claim that because Judge Boasberg became the “Chief Judge” for the D.C. federal court in March 2023, he was required by “local rules” to oversee all grand jury matters. The warrants were signed in May 2023, so, they argue, he had to be the one to sign them.
This is the most pathetic “just following orders” excuse imaginable.
This isn’t a case of a judge being randomly assigned a simple drug case. This was Special Counsel Jack Smith’s political “witch hunt” demanding the private phone logs of 11 sitting Republican senators—the direct political opposition.
A judge with any integrity, any respect for the Constitution, or any sense of impartiality would have recused himself immediately.
A judge who wasn’t a partisan “activist” would have seen the profound constitutional crisis at play. But Boasberg is not a man of integrity. He is an Obama appointee, and he did exactly what the Deep State expected him to do.
He did not have to sign those warrants. He chose to. He chose to be the rubber stamp for Jack Smith’s political persecution.
This Isn’t a Judge – It’s a Deep State Operative
If you have any doubt about Judge Boasberg’s true allegiances, you only need to look at his record. This man is the Deep State’s fixer.
His fingerprints are all over the most corrupt political spying operations of the last decade.
From 2014 to 2021, Boasberg served on the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA Court). Yes, that court. He was even the presiding judge for part of that time.
This is the same secret court that was lied to by a corrupt FBI to get surveillance warrants against the 2016 Trump campaign in the “Crossfire Hurricane” probe. Boasberg was right there, at the center of the swamp, as it was happening.
But his most unforgivable act came later.
Judge Boasberg was the judge who presided over the sentencing of Kevin Clinesmith. Remember him? Clinesmith was the crooked FBI lawyer who admitted in court to falsifying an email used to justify a FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
Clinesmith was a convicted criminal who corrupted our justice system to frame the President.
When this Deep State criminal came before Judge Boasberg for sentencing, what did this “tough” judge do? Did he send him to prison for his coup-like activities?
No. He gave him probation. No jail time. A complete and total slap on the wrist.
This is the man. He lets actual Deep State criminals who admit to falsifying evidence walk free, but he will gladly sign secret warrants to spy on Republican senators who were doing their jobs.
This is not a “judge.” This is a protector of the swamp.
‘Worse Than Watergate’: Ted Cruz Is Right
Senator Ted Cruz is one of the few in Washington with the courage to call this what it is.
He correctly labeled this probe “worse than Watergate” and said Boasberg must have been printing the warrants “like the placemats at Denny’s.”
The senator is 100% correct. This is a profound, generation-defining scandal.
The Justice Department, under the control of a hyper-partisan Special Counsel, decided to investigate the legislative branch for the “crime” of political dissent.
Then, they went to their favorite judge—the same one who let their last criminal operative walk free—to get the secret warrants to make it happen.
This is the unholy alliance of the Deep State: the DOJ and the judiciary working in lockstep to destroy their political enemies.
Shredding the Constitution’s ‘Speech or Debate’ Clause
The swamp is trying to trample one of the most sacred, core protections in the U.S. Constitution.
The Speech or Debate Clause (Article I, Section 6) was written by the Founders for this exact scenario. It states that senators and representatives “shall not be questioned in any other Place” for “any Speech or Debate in either House.”
The Founders, who had just fought a revolution against a king, knew that a tyrannical executive branch would one day try to arrest or intimidate lawmakers who disagreed with it. This clause was meant to be an iron shield.
The Republican senators who were targeted by Jack Smith and Judge Boasberg were doing their legislative duty. They were making calls, holding debates, and raising objections to the 2020 election results—all of which is their explicit, constitutional right.
The corrupt DOJ is trying to re-frame this protected legislative activity as a “criminal conspiracy.”
And Judge Boasberg, by signing the warrants, gave his judicial blessing to this constitutional sacrilege. He agreed with the Deep State: The Constitution does not apply to allies of Donald Trump.
The Two-Tiered System Is Now Undeniable
The pattern is sickening, and it is undeniable. This is a two-tiered system of justice.
- If you are a Deep State lawyer like Kevin Clinesmith who falsifies evidence to spy on a Republican President, Judge Boasberg gives you probation.
- If you are a Republican Senator who makes a phone call to challenge an election, Judge Boasberg signs a warrant for your private records.
This is the reality of the D.C. swamp. And this isn’t even Boasberg’s only attack on the America First agenda.
This is the same judge who has repeatedly, from his bench, tried to block President Trump’s strong, common-sense immigration policies. He drew President Trump’s direct anger for blocking the use of a 1798 law to deport Venezuelan migrants.
He is, in every sense, a “resistance” judge.
The Only Solution: Impeachment
The media wants you to believe this is just “hyper-partisanship” or a “breakdown of trust.”
This is not a “breakdown of trust.” This is a betrayal of the public trust. This is a betrayal of his oath to the Constitution.
Judge Boasberg is not a neutral referee. He is an active player on the other team, wearing a black robe to disguise his blue jersey.
This is why the calls for his impeachment are not a “stunt.” They are an absolute necessity.
The Constitution gives Congress the power of impeachment for exactly this reason: to remove corrupt, partisan judges who have proven they cannot be trusted with power.
This is not a “dangerous precedent,” as the weak-willed “Gary” commenter in the source material claims. What is dangerous is allowing a known partisan operative like James Boasberg to continue his work as the Deep State’s fixer.
We must drain the swamp. And that includes the judicial swamp, starting with Judge Boasberg.
