While the liberal elites and the fake news media lecture us from their ivory towers about “federalism,” a five-year-old boy is dead in Chicago.
After another weekend of horrific, bloody violence that saw six people killed in the city, the real people of Chicago – the ones living in fear every single day – are now openly begging for President Donald J. Trump to save them.
They are tired of the failed leadership of their soft-on-crime Democrat politicians. They are “screaming” for help. And President Trump is the only leader who is listening. The so-called “experts” can cry about the Constitution, but the first duty of any government is to protect its citizens – a duty that Chicago’s leaders have completely and utterly failed.
‘Our Communities Are Out of Control’
The pain on the streets of Chicago is real. You won’t hear it from the city’s radical politicians, but you can hear it from the people who have to live there.
“Our communities are out of control,” one South Side resident and Trump supporter said.
“You can’t sit in your car without worrying about being robbed, mugged, shot, carjacked. We definitely need something to be done.”
This is the reality that the Democratic machine has created. It is a city under siege, where children are not safe. The residents’ desperate pleas for federal intervention are not a “constitutional crisis” – they are a cry for survival.

The Elites Lecture, Trump Listens
As always, the swamp is more concerned with process and protocol than with people’s lives. They are whining about the “Posse Comitatus Act” and the “10th Amendment.”
Tell that to the family of the five-year-old boy who was just killed.
Their pathetic, academic arguments mean nothing in the real world where bullets are flying. The real constitutional crisis is a government that has so completely failed in its most basic duty – protecting its citizens – that those citizens are now forced to beg for a federal rescue mission.
President Trump hears their pleas. He understands that his ultimate duty is to the safety of the American people, wherever they may live.

A Moral Duty to Act
The people of Chicago are not asking for a “constitutional shortcut.” They are asking for their most fundamental right to be protected: the right to live in safety.
When a city’s leadership so completely abandons that duty, the President of the United States has a moral obligation to step in. Governor J.B. Pritzker and the failed Chicago mayor can keep defending their “autonomy” to let their city descend into chaos. President Trump is focused on saving American lives.
This is not a political game. It is a rescue mission.
