AMERICA FIRST WINS: Appeals Court Backs Trump

President Trump just secured a massive victory for the American taxpayer. A federal appeals court has ruled in his favor, allowing him to halt nearly $2 billion in wasteful foreign aid payments that an activist judge tried to force out the door.

This is a complete vindication of the Presidentโ€™s America First agenda and a powerful rebuke to the judicial activists who try to stand in his way.

The Foreign Aid Gravy Train Comes to a Screeching Halt

On his very first day back in office, President Trump signed an executive order to stop the endless flow of our hard-earned money to foreign countries. But the globalist swamp fought back, and a lower court judge tried to force the administration to send nearly $2 billion to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) anyway.

Today, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals slapped that activist judge down. In a 2-1 ruling, the court sided with President Trump, affirming his authority to stop wasteful spending.

Justice Alito Was Right All Along

This fight went all the way to the Supreme Court on an emergency basis back in February. While a narrow majority punted on a technicality, the court’s conservative wing saw the outrageousness of the lower court’s ruling.

Justice Samuel Alito wrote a scathing dissent, blasting the lower court for its “unfortunate misstep” and an act of “judicial hubris.” He was furious that a single judge could force the government to pay out – and “probably lose forever” – two billion taxpayer dollars.

He wrote then: “I am stunned.”

Today’s ruling by the appeals court proves that Justice Alito was right all along. The real legal experts knew from the beginning that the lower courtโ€™s order was a gross overreach of power.

The Swamp Cries as the Spigot is Turned Off

Predictably, the foreign aid industrial complex is crying foul. They are whining about “reputational damage” and “security risks.”

This is the sound of the swamp screaming as its taxpayer-funded gravy train comes to a screeching halt. For decades, they have gotten rich by sending our money overseas with zero accountability.

President Trump is putting an end to that. The only “risk” is that other countries will now have to learn to stand on their own two feet instead of cashing American checks.

Promises Kept

President Trump promised he would stop the endless foreign giveaways and put the interests of the American people first. This court victory is another promise kept.

It is a win for fiscal sanity, a win for national sovereignty, and a win for every single taxpayer. While the critics cry, we will celebrate a President who is unafraid to fight the swamp, the courts, and the globalists to put America First.
