After a liberal magazine tried to use her as an example of a business that should fear the woke mob, she went on social media and proudly declared that it would be a “privilege” to welcome President Donald J. Trump to her restaurant. This is what true American bravery looks like.

The whole story started when the Washingtonian magazine published an article claiming any restaurant that served President Trump would face a “political maelstrom” of boycotts and “real-life rage.” They were trying to create a narrative of fear and intimidation.
But Mariya Rusciano refused to be bullied.

In a powerful post on X, Ms. Rusciano dismantled the media’s entire phony narrative.
“It is disrespectful to turn @POTUS away,” she wrote. “It also means turning away millions of fellow Americans who voted differently. We welcome everyone & it would be a privilege to welcome @POTUS.”
She even ended her post with a charming and clever joke, showing she will not be intimidated: “Also, we hear @realDonaldTrump eats pizza with a fork & knife, like a true Neapolitan.”
