As New York City grieves the murder of a hero, NYPD Officer Didarul Islam, the man who wants to be its next mayor is nowhere to be found. Heโs on vacation. In Uganda.
You canโt make this stuff up.
Zohran Mamdani, the radical socialist and official Democratic nominee for Mayor, is being haunted by his own vile, anti-police rhetoric in the wake of this tragedy. And itโs no wonder heโs hiding. His words, which for years called for the destruction of law enforcement, have helped create the very “culture of violence” that just left a police officer’s children without a father.
This isn’t just about one politician’s hypocrisy. This is the tragic, inevitable result of the Democrats’ war on cops. Words have consequences, and now there is blood on the streets of New York.

The Radical’s Words Come Back to Haunt Him
The internet never forgets. As news of the shooting broke, Mamdani’s disgusting track record came rushing back into the light. This is the man the Democrats chose to be their standard-bearer:
- In June 2020, he declared: โNo, we want to defund the police.โ
- In November 2020, he tweeted: โQueer liberation means defund the police.โ
- He called the NYPD “racist,” “wicked & corrupt,” and a “major threat to public safety.”
But now that he needs the votes of decent, law-abiding citizens, heโs engaged in the most pathetic flip-flop imaginable.
During the debates, he promised, “I will not defund the police.” His website now claims police have a “critical role.”
How stupid does he think New Yorkers are? This is a man who was caught on video saying he wants to “seize the means of production.” He is a self-proclaimed socialist, and as the Suffolk County GOP chairman rightly said, the Democrats have “anointed a communist as the face of the party.”

A City Gripped by Fear
This isn’t just a political game. The policies and rhetoric championed by radicals like Mamdani have real-world consequences. As Bill OโReilly correctly stated, New York City now has a “culture of violence,” and residents are “100 percent scared” to simply go to work or ride the subway.
The fear is so real that even lifelong Democrats are rejecting their own partyโs nominee. When Andrew Cuomo was campaigning in Harlem, regular people in public housing told him they refuse to vote for Mamdani.
This isn’t about partisan politics anymore. This is about survival.

The Bottom Line: The Chickens Have Come Home to Roost
This tragedy has exposed the Democratic party’s radical soul for all to see. They nominated a man who hates the police to run America’s largest city. While a hero’s family plans a funeral, their nominee is vacationing in Africa. The cowardice is as stunning as the hypocrisy.
Republicans across New York are rightly tying this disgrace to every Democrat on the ballot. This is not an isolated extremist; this is the modern Democratic Party.
President Trump has warned us about this for years. He has stood for law and order while the Democrats have coddled criminals and attacked our police. Now, we see the bloody result of their ideology. The choice in November has never been clearer: it is a choice between civilization and the chaos that people like Zohran Mamdani create.
