The mainstream media is in a frenzy today, screaming that Republicans voted to โblock the release of the Epstein files.โ As usual, they are deliberately misleading you about what really happened.
What happened late Monday night in a Capitol Hill committee room wasnโt a vote to hide the truth. It was a vote to stop the Democrats from pulling a cheap, dishonest political stunt designed to create chaos and undermine President Trump.
The American people deserve the full, unvarnished truth about Jeffrey Epstein and his network of ghouls. The question is who you trust to deliver it. The answer is clear: President Trump, not the swamp creatures who are terrified of what he will uncover.

A Desperate Political Ploy
Letโs be very clear about the Democratsโ dirty trick. Led by Rep. Ro Khanna, they tried to force an immediate release of all Epstein documents by attaching it toโฆ a cryptocurrency bill.
You read that right. Not a bill on government transparency. Not a justice-related bill. A bill about crypto.
This proves this was never a serious attempt to get to the truth. It was a desperate political ploy designed to create a media circus, force a chaotic document dump, and distract from the incredible successes of the Trump administration.
The top Democrat on the committee, Rep. Jim McGovern, dramatically declared, โI want to know what the hell is in these files.โ A better question for Mr. McGovern is: where has your passion been for the last several years?
Why the sudden, panicked urgency now that President Trump is in charge? Because they don’t want the truth; they want to control the narrative.
The Calm, Responsible Approach
Thankfully, the Republicans on the House Rules Committee refused to play their game. They correctly blocked the amendment, not because they are against transparency, but because they are against cheap political theater.
The committeeโs chairwoman, Rep. Virginia Foxx, articulated the only responsible position: โwhatโs appropriate will be released when it is time for the president to release it.โ
This is the commonsense, constitutional approach. The Epstein case is a sprawling web of evil with potential links to ongoing investigations. A random, politically-motivated document dump could compromise law enforcement and let criminals walk free.
President Trump and his Department of Justice must be allowed to conduct an orderly and thorough review. They will release the truth, but they will do it the right way, ensuring justice is served, not obstructed for a cheap headline.

Don’t Fall for the Democrats’ Trap (Like This One Republican Did…)
Predictably, the media is highlighting that one Republican, Rep. Ralph Norman, voted with the Democrats. While his desire for transparency is something we all share, he unfortunately fell for the Democratsโ trap.
In every battle against the swamp, thereโs always one person who gets confused and breaks ranks. In this case, it was Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina.

While the rest of the Republicans on the committee saw the Democrats’ pathetic stunt for what it was, Rep. Norman chose to vote with them. In doing so, he didnโt speed up the release of the files by one second. All he did was hand a massive victory to the fake news media.
He gave them the exact headline they were desperate to write: “Republican Joins Democrats in Push for Epstein Files.” He played right into their hands, allowing them to create the illusion of a divided party and undermine the President’s position.
The Democratsโ goal was never to pass this amendment. Their goal was to get Republicans on record voting against something that sounds good, so they could run to the cameras and scream “cover-up!” It’s the oldest trick in the swamp’s playbook.
The truth is that every Republican wants these files released. The difference is that most of them understand that President Trump is the only person who can be trusted to do it without fear or favor.
The bottom line is simple. Who do you trust to expose the rot and corruption tied to Jeffrey Epstein? The same political actors who have been part of the DC swamp for decades? Or the one man who has dedicated his life to draining it?
This vote wasn’t about hiding anything. It was about stopping a political stunt so that a real investigation can proceed. President Trump will get to the bottom of this, and the whole world will see the truth.
