You truly have to see the hypocrisy of the Washington swamp to believe it. For four years under Joe Biden, while Republicans screamed for transparency and answers about the Jeffrey Epstein saga, the Democrats and their media allies were completely silent. They dismissed it, ignored it, and called anyone who asked questions a conspiracy theorist.
Now, just a few months into President Donald J. Trump’s new term, they have suddenly discovered their passion for “transparency.”
It is the most shameless, cynical, and transparently political stunt in recent memory. Democrats aren’t demanding answers because they care about the truth. They are demanding them because they see a chance to attack President Trump and try to divide our party.
Where Were They for the Last Four Years?
The question that every single Democrat needs to be asked is the one posed by Republican Rep. Ralph Norman: “Where were the questions when Biden was in office?”
The answer is nowhere. They didn’t care. It was Republicans who led the charge, demanding hearings and documents while the Democrats stonewalled. As Rep. Mark Messmer said, “I’m glad they’re joining the party, but they should have been a little more transparent a year ago.”

Their newfound concern isn’t a change of heart. It’s a change in political calculation. As Texas Rep. Beth Van Duyne put it perfectly, this “proves that all along it was just political.” They saw no advantage in demanding answers from a Democrat administration, but they see a golden opportunity to create chaos for a Republican one.
A Desperate Attempt to Divide and Distract
The Democrats’ real strategy is as simple as it is disgusting. They see that some patriots are still asking questions about the Trump DOJ’s recent memo—which concluded there was no “client list” and that the files are largely sealed evidence—and they are trying to pour gasoline on that fire.
Their goal isn’t to find the truth. Their goal is to create headlines that say “GOP Divided Over Epstein” and to distract from the incredible list of successes President Trump has already achieved.
What they see as a “rift,” however, is actually a sign of our party’s strength. We are having an open, honest debate about the best way to get to the truth—something principled people do. Democrats, on the other hand, just fall in line and repeat whatever talking point they were handed that morning.
The Reality the Democrats Won’t Accept
The simple fact is that President Trump’s DOJ has already addressed this. The professionals investigated and reported their findings. But that truth isn’t politically useful for the Democrats.
They would rather demand a public hearing, like Rep. Jamie Raskin and his progressive friends, to create a media circus. They want to demand the release of files they know are sealed by court order, just so they can claim the administration is “hiding something.”

It’s a dishonest game from start to finish, and it shows their contempt for the intelligence of the American people.
This entire episode is a pathetic political game. The Democrats have exposed themselves as total hypocrites who only care about an issue when they think they can use it as a political weapon. Patriots see right through it. We will continue to stand with President Trump and the principled conservatives who have always wanted the truth, not just when it polls well.
