The Department of Homeland Security has just announced that a transgender illegal alien—a biological man from Colombia—has been charged with the first-degree rape of a child in the sanctuary city of New York.

Step 1: In March 2023, he was arrested for illegally entering our country in California. Step 2: Instead of being deported, the Biden administration released him into our communities under their disgusting “catch and release” policy.
The border was not secure. The law was not enforced. A dangerous individual was set free.
Sanctuary Cities: A Shield for Predators
Once inside our country, did this individual become a productive member of society? Of course not.
He was later arrested in Massachusetts for a string of violent crimes, including armed robbery, prostitution, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
This was the moment he should have been taken off our streets for good and handed over to ICE. But because Massachusetts is a sanctuary state, their radical policies protected the criminal instead of the public. They released this violent predator back into our communities.
A Horrific, Preventable Crime
The result of this chain of liberal policy failures is a tragedy that should shake every American to their core. This same individual is now in custody at Rikers Island, charged with the first-degree rape of a child under 17 and stalking.
As DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated with righteous fury, “This creep should’ve never been released into our country.”
She is absolutely right. This crime was preventable. This child did not have to become a victim. This is the fault of every single politician who supports open borders. This is the fault of every single politician who champions sanctuary city policies that put the rights of criminal illegal aliens above the safety of American children.

Thank God we have a real leader in the White House again. President Trump and his team at DHS are now engaged in a massive, nationwide sweep to hunt down and deport the “worst of the worst” criminals that the Biden administration let pour into our country.
The left and their media allies are screaming about these raids, claiming ICE is targeting innocent families. The facts prove they are lying. A stunning 70% of the arrests made by ICE have been of illegal aliens with criminal convictions or pending charges.
They are not arresting families. They are arresting predators like Contreras-Suarez.
