When violent mobs attacked federal officers in broad daylight, President Donald J. Trump didn’t flinch. “A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals,” President Trump posted on Truth Social. “Order will be restored, the Illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free.”
The Riots Democrats Tried to Downplay
For three straight days, chaos reigned in L.A. as protesters hurled rocks, bottles, and even Molotov cocktails at immigration authorities. Police and federal agents were targeted while trying to enforce the law. According to U.S. officials, protesters also attacked government vehicles and blocked ICE operations targeting criminal aliens.
Despite the violence, California Governor Gavin Newsom — whom Trump dubbed “Governor Newscum” — stood in the way of federal efforts to keep the peace. While he told citizens to “stay calm,” his inaction let the city burn.
A Commander Who Leads, Not Follows
Trump didn’t wait for permission. He took the reins, triggering a Presidential Memorandum to federalize the California National Guard. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth backed the move, confirming that Marines at Camp Pendleton were placed on high alert.
“If Governor Gavin Newscum and Mayor Karen Bass can’t do their jobs — which everyone knows they can’t — then the Federal Government will step in and solve the problem,” Trump declared.
A War on Lawlessness
While the Left called it “inflammatory,” everyday Americans saw something else: leadership. President Trump vowed that law enforcement would no longer be spit on, attacked, or undermined by woke mayors and radical activists.

Dozens of arrests have already been made, including in New York where a similar mob tried to block ICE raids. The FBI, under Director Kash Patel, made it clear: anyone who assaults law enforcement will be tracked, arrested, and charged.

Secretary Noem drew a clear line between now and the anarchy under Democrat rule in 2020:
“President Trump is not going to let a repeat of 2020 happen,” she told CBS. “This time, we’re restoring law and order — fast.”
