Another day, another activist judge in a deep-state courtroom trying to tell the American people their vote doesnโt matter. A federal judge in Rhode Island, John J. McConnell Jr., has decided he knows better than the President and has moved to block our administrationโs commonsense policy to stop funding sanctuary states that harbor illegal immigrants.

The forgotten men and women of this country elected a President to solve problems, and illegal immigration is at the top of the list.
They voted for a leader who would put America First, secure our borders, and enforce our laws. But what do we get? A judge in a liberal state, siding with 20 Democrat-led states, trying to force the American taxpayer to foot the bill for their open-border insanity.
The American people are sick and tired of their hard-earned money being funneled to states that refuse to cooperate with federal law.
If these sanctuary states want to defy our immigration laws, they shouldn’t get a single dime of federal money for their roads and bridges. Itโs that simple. Our President is using the tools of the federal government to hold these states accountable, and for that, he is being attacked by the very swamp he was elected to drain.

This ruling isn’t about the “separation of powers” like the fake news and the D.C. elite want you to believe. This is about an unelected bureaucracy and activist judges trying to strip a duly elected President of his authority.
The President was voted in to follow through with what the American people sent him to Washington to do. He needs the freedom and authority to make good on his promises, not to be tied down by liberal judges who are more concerned with political correctness than the safety and security of our nation.
Letโs be clear: this decision is a slap in the face to every law-abiding American citizen.
The judge claims there is no โplausible connectionโ between building a highway and enforcing immigration law. This is the kind of twisted logic that only a career bureaucrat could come up with. The connection is obvious to anyone with an ounce of common sense:
if a state is making our country less safe by refusing to enforce immigration laws, they shouldn’t be rewarded with federal tax dollars for any project.
This is a blatant attempt at judicial overreach. The President has a mandate from the people, and he is using his rightful authority to protect our country.

We the People voted for a strong leader who would finally put an end to the chaos at our borders.
The liberal establishment and their allies in the judiciary will do everything in their power to stop him, but the American people know the truth. They know that this is a fight for the soul of our nation, and they will continue to stand with a President who is willing to fight for them.
